<p>Ivanhoe Girls’ Grammar School in inner Melbourne is a leading Independent school catering for girls from Early Learning Centre through to Year 12. Ivanhoe Girls’ offers a personalised education where every student is supported to discover and build upon their individual talents and confidence as articulate, critical thinkers, with a lifelong love of learning.&nbsp;</p> <p>Ivanhoe Girls’ Signature Learning Program is a pioneering initiative for Years 7–10 students launching in 2027. This immersive, off-timetable curriculum will embed student agency, real-world problem solving, and transdisciplinary learning, supported by a new purpose-built facility. Aligned to the School’s values and commitment to deep learning, the Program will elevate student voice and develop complex competencies through passion-driven projects underpinned by design thinking, digital innovation, entrepreneurship, sustainability, and wellbeing.</p> <p>The Director of the Signature Learning Program is a new executive role, and will shape and embed a distinctive, inquiry-led curriculum model that draws on educational research and partnerships with The University of Melbourne, community mentors and industry leaders. The Director will inspire and support staff in contemporary pedagogies and champion a dynamic educational culture grounded in innovation, collaboration, and impact. Reporting to the Principal and working in close partnership with the Director of Learning and Innovation, the Director of Signature Learning will lead the program’s design, delivery and continuous improvement. This role will have the opportunity to lead a team of forward-thinking educators in ensuring the new facility meets the flexible needs of a future-focused educational program.</p> <p>The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to:</p> <ul> <li>Lead innovative, future-focused curriculum development in a secondary setting</li> <li>Champion transdisciplinary and project-based pedagogies</li> <li>Engage and inspire staff through strategic leadership and coaching</li> <li>Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders</li> <li>Align learning design with national standards and global competencies</li> <li>Demonstrate excellence in communication, planning and educational leadership</li> </ul> <p>This position is part of the Curriculum and Learning Team and is offered as a full-time executive appointment commencing 2026 or earlier by negotiation.
