Community Support Officer

The Community Support Officer provides advocacy and assistance to college community who are in need.
<p><strong>The Opportunity</strong><br>
We are excited to offer a permanent role as Community Support Officer commencing ASAP. You will be part of the Catholic Identity Team, building connections with students and families in need of additional support.</p>
<p><strong>About You</strong> <br>
Are you an advocate for social justice and service, with a passion for helping students and families in need? Are you passionate about engaging members of our catholic school to deliver a welcoming and inclusive community.</p>
<p>This position is an 18-hour per week commitment during term time with some school holiday work required. Days of work are negotiable.</p>
<p>The successful applicant needs to:</p>
<ul>
<li>Actively support and contribute to the Catholic Identity and Edmund Rice Tradition of our College using the College values of Faith, Relationships, Excellence and Diversity</li>
<li>Have a demonstrated ability to collaborate in a dynamic and flexible learning environment</li>
<li>Have a passion and dedication for supporting students and families with diverse needs and backgrounds</li>
<li>Possess highly effective communication and interpersonal skills in developing positive and collaborative relationships with students, parents, colleagues and the broader community</li>
<li>Demonstrate pastoral care of all students and community members.</li>
</ul>
