<p><strong>The opportunity</strong></p> <p>We are seeking an enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher to join our 3-year-old room from Term 3, starting 21 July 2025. This position is for 26 hours per week (days negotiable) for the remainder of the school year, with the opportunity to move to full-time in 2026. If you have completed at least 50% of a relevant Early Childhood Teaching degree, you may be eligible to work in this role under a Special Authority. You bring creativity, care, and professionalism to your teaching, nurturing each child’s development through play-based learning. We are looking for someone who:</p> <ul> <li>Is suitably qualified with a Bachelor in Early Childhood Education or equivalent or at least 50% completed degree for special authority.</li> <li>Is a committed Christian who is active in church fellowship to join our vibrant Christian community.</li> <li>Has an outstanding attention to detail.</li> <li>Has the ability to demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills.</li> <li>Has a current Working With Children Check, have completed Responding to Risk of Harm, Abuse &amp; Neglect in Education &amp; Care (RRHAN-EC) training, and Protective Practices training or be willing to complete these upon commencement.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About Sunrise Christian School</strong></p> <p>Sunrise Christian School educates the hearts and minds of children to provide wisdom and an understanding of God.
