<p>We are excited to offer a leadership opportunity for an experienced PDHPE and Sport Coordinator. This permanent full-time role begins at the start of the 2026 school year and includes a 2-point Leadership Allowance.</p>
<p><strong>About the Role</strong><br>
As a key member of the leadership team, you will support the Principal in delivering high-quality PDHPE and sport programs. This role combines teaching and coordination responsibilities, including curriculum leadership, student wellbeing, and managing a diverse sporting program—all grounded in the Christian values and vision of SHAPS.</p>
<p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Model and promote Christian values by leading and teaching with respect, and compassion.</li>
<li>Plan, teach, and assess high-quality PDHPE programs aligned with NESA outcomes and tailored to diverse student needs.</li>
<li>Promote faith, health, and wellbeing across school life through integrated curriculum and daily practices.</li>
<li>Lead professional dialogue on effective PDHPE strategies, fostering innovation, inclusivity, and continuous improvement.</li>
<li>Use data to support student progress in physical literacy, resilience, social skills, and emotional wellbeing.</li>
<li>Develop and manage a comprehensive sport program including carnivals, weekly sport, fitness initiatives, and representative pathways.</li>
<li>Ensure all physical activities uphold WHS, child safety standards, and are inclusive of students with diverse needs.</li>
<li>Communicate actively with families and foster partnerships with local sports and health organisations.</li>
<li>Oversee budgets, equipment, event logistics, and compliance documentation with attention to safety and equity.</li>
<li>Engage in ongoing professional development and mentor colleagues to enhance PDHPE practice and student outcomes.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>What We Are Looking For</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Strong background in teaching PDHPE, ideally with leadership or coordination experience.</li>
<li>Ability to plan and deliver inclusive, high-quality sport and physical education programs.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of representative sport pathways and experience working with sporting groups..</li>
</ul>
<p> <strong>Eligibility requirements </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Tertiary qualification in Education.</li>
<li>Accredited at the Proficient Teacher level by the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).</li>
<li>Current and valid NSW Working with Children Check</li>
</ul>
<p><strong> Conditions and salary </strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Salary is based on the Independent Schools (Teachers) Cooperative Multi-Enterprise Agreement 2025.</li>
<li>Salary range: $103,056 to $132,000 (based on experience and qualifications) (range paid above award)</li>
<li>Additional Level 2 Leadership Allowance of $19,750 per annum.</li>
<li>Employment is subject to satisfactory Working with Children Check clearance.</li>
