We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Director of Christian Growth to join our Executive Leadership team at Trinity Christian School.

<p><strong>About the Role</strong></p>
<p>The Director of Christian Growth works directly to the Principal and is a member of the School Executive. They provide strategic Christian leadership across the School, particularly giving oversight, direction and guidance in the embedding of a Christ centred approach to all facets of the School. </p>
<p>The Director of Christian Growth has the responsibility to lead the development and implementation of a robust Christian education that will grow each person’s faith, expressed through greater understanding, engagement and commitment to Christ. They will be responsible for driving the growth of a community committed to deeper knowledge of the Bible – with relationships, actions and a culture of service inspired by Christ. </p>
<p>Part of this role includes coordinating the Christian Life Studies faculty. As Faculty Coordinator you are part of our ‘learning teaching team’ led by the Director of Learning and Teaching along with the Heads of School. This team provides Christian leadership, implementation of the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the learning and teaching across the School. </p>
<p>The Director of Christian Growth is responsible for the ongoing development and delivery of a rich and invigorating, Christ centred learning experience for students from Kindergarten to Year 12. They take the lead role in designing and implementing an authentic Christian curriculum in the Christian Life Studies area, which gives attention to: </p>
<p>> the empowerment of children as active agents in their own learning </p>
<p>> the inclusion of the child’s world (family and community), and </p>
<p>> a holistic approach to children’s growth and development. </p>
<p>The Director of Christian Growth is a full-time Position of Responsibility 3 (PoR3) and will undertake a 0.25FTE teaching load in the School. Part-time applicants will be considered with an understanding that this would be at least a 0.75FTE position.</p>

<li>A gifted, dynamic teacher with an in-depth knowledge and understanding of the development and educational needs of students and a passion for encouraging them in faith in Jesus Christ.</li>
<li>Excellent academic qualifications and subject knowledge. </li>
<li>Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and a willingness to relate with compassion, humility, grace, strength and integrity to students, families and staff.</li>
<li>Excellent leadership and administrative skills, including team building, coaching and mentoring.</li>
<li>Flexibility to work the hours required to meet critical timelines and other responsibilities of your role.</li>
