<p>Henschke Catholic Primary School caters for K-6 Students and is the largest Co-Education Catholic Primary school in Wagga Wagga. <p><strong>Your New Role</strong></p>
<p>This role serves as the school's central point of contact, administering reception duties, providing first aid, and offering comprehensive administrative support to the Principal, including financial tasks and student record maintenance. This role ensures smooth daily operations through effective communication, organisation, and efficient handling of diverse inquiries and responsibilities.</p>

<p><strong>Essential Criteria</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Support the ethos of Catholic Education and the School </li>
<li>Undertake duties as negotiated with the Principal and Office Manager </li>
<li>To monitor student non-attendance via correspondence to parents and share relevant information with the principal </li>
<li>To maintain staff and school online calendars </li>
<li>To type correspondence and reports as directed by the Principal </li>
<li>Assist with the monitoring of compliance requirements </li>
<li>Confident use of technology for information sharing, school promotion, maintenance of the school website and the creation of the school newsletter </li>
<li>Highly developed communication skills both verbal and written </li>
<li>Proven ability to maintain confidentiality </li>
<li>An advanced level of word processing and database skills and ability to broaden computing experience with other packages, including the ability to review and verify data </li>
<li>Manage and dispense medication authorised by parents and maintain a Medication Register </li>
<li>Manage and update student Medical Records to be used across the school including an annual update </li>
<li>Audit and maintain office stationery needs and monitor photocopier use </li>
<li>A range of skills and strategies that enable an organised and efficient workplace </li>
<li>Support the well-being and life of the school as may be required </li>
<li>NSW Working with Children Check </li>
<li>Successful Candidate to undertake a National Criminal History Check </li>
<li>Current First Aid Certificate or willingness to obtain</li>
<li>Accreditation for Support Staff in a Catholic School (Category A,<a href="https://cedww.app.lumapps.com/intranet/evangelisation-religious-education/work-teach-lead" rel="nofollow"> <u>Accreditation to Work Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools</u></a>, Catholic Education Diocese of Wagga Wagga) or working towards Accreditation.</li>
