Arndell Anglican College in northwest Sydney, we are seeking a front desk professional to be the welcoming face of our College. In this role you will partner with other reception staff working a five day fortnight, term time only.

As the first point of contact for students, staff, families, and visitors, you will play a vital role in creating a warm and efficient front office environment while supporting a range of administrative tasks that contribute to the smooth operation of the College.</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>The Receptionist is responsible for managing front desk operations, including answering calls, greeting visitors, and supporting student and parent inquiries. This role also involves day-to-day administrative support, managing sign-in processes, student logistics, and contributing to College events and co-curricular life.</p> <p>Your ability to communicate effectively, multitask under pressure, and maintain a professional and approachable presence will be essential in this highly visible role.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Manage all front desk duties including phone, email, and visitor reception.</li> <li>Coordinate student and visitor sign-in/sign-out processes.</li> <li>Liaise with students, parents, and staff to facilitate item deliveries, transport passes, and general enquiries.</li> <li>Maintain the reception area to a high standard of cleanliness and professionalism.</li> <li>Support the mobile phone register, daily student runner coordination, and attendance logistics.</li> <li>Assist with College events, carnivals, and special activities as needed.</li> </ul> <p>A full position description is available on the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.arndell.nsw.edu.au/about/employment/" rel="nofollow"><strong>College website</strong></a>.</p> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <p>As someone with previous experience in a receptionist, front desk, or administrative role (school environment preferred) you possess:</p> <ul> <li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a welcoming and positive attitude.</li> <li>Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.</li> <li>An ability to maintain confidentiality, professionalism, and efficiency in a busy environment.</li> <li>Technology and office systems skills, with adaptability to learn school-specific software.</li> <li>A collaborative and community-minded approach to work.</li> </ul> <p><strong>What We Offer</strong></p> <p>A part-time job share position where you will work 8.00 am to 4.00 pm every Thursday and Friday plus every second Wednesday.&nbsp; This is a <strong>Term Time Only&nbsp;</strong>position.</p> <p>You will enjoy working in a collaborative, respectful, and well-resourced environment where you can be part of a supportive, values-driven team, making a meaningful difference in the lives of young people and have the ability to access funded professional development and a variety of staff wellbeing programs.</p>
