Interested in sparking curiosity and inspiring a passion for STEM in young learners? We are looking for an enthusiastic and innovative Digital Technologies/STEM Specialist Teacher to join the St Bernadette's team two days per week. Start date Term 3 2025.

<p>If you love fostering curiosity, building strong relationships, and making a meaningful impact, this role is for you!&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>The successful applicant will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>deliver engaging, hands-on STEM lessons for our students</li> <li>foster creativity, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills</li> <li>collaborate with colleagues to promote a strong STEM culture across the school</li> <li>contribute to events, projects, and initiatives that enhance students' STEM learning</li> <li>have an understanding and commitment to MACS Vision for Instruction</li> <li>have an understanding and commitment to the Science of Learning</li> <li>be open to the implementation of the Direct Explicit Instruction pedagogy&nbsp;</li> <li>be able to work in a supportive team and have the capacity to establish, contribute to and maintain positive workplace relationships</li> <li>be committed to ongoing professional learning</li> </ul> <p><strong>To be considered for this position you must:</strong></p> <ul> <li>have an understanding of the ethos of a Catholic school and be committed to its mission;</li> <li>be committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care;&nbsp;</li> <li>have current and appropriate registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching.</li> <li>have accreditation to teach Religious Education in Catholic schools or be willing to undertake such accreditation</li> <li>have a strong understanding of contemporary educational trends in STEM teaching and learning.</li> </ul> <p>If you are a dedicated and forward-thinking educator with a passion for and STEM / Digital Technologies, we would love to hear from you!
