<p>This is an exciting leadership opportunity to lead the school community of <strong>St Anne’s Catholic Primary School, Sarina</strong> commencing January 2026.</p>
<p><strong>St Anne’s Catholic Primary School, Sarina </strong>is part of a system of kindergartens, primary schools and colleges operated by Catholic Education in the Diocese of Rockhampton (CEDR) in rural and regional centres from Mackay, south to Bundaberg, and west to Longreach.</p>
<p>In your role as Principal, you will be supported by the staff of the Catholic Education Office in the areas of Teaching and Learning, Catholic Identity, Indigenous Education, ICT, Finance, Strategy, Business Development, Human Resources and Student Protection.</p>
<p>As Principal at St Anne’s Catholic Primary School, Sarina, you will report to the Diocesan Director Catholic Education in the Diocese of Rockhampton through the Assistant Director: Schools (Northern Region).</p>
<p>St Anne's Catholic Primary School is located in the coastal town of Sarina about 30 minutes south of Mackay. It provides students from Prep to Year Six with a contemporary and well-balanced Catholic education and enjoys a strong partnership with the parish community at St Michael’s. Founded by the Sisters of Mercy in 1925, their traditions are embedded in the life of St Anne’s. </p>
<p>The school is well known for its family atmosphere. This is due to the welcoming nature created by the students, staff and parents. Parents are encouraged, as partners to contribute time, energies and talents to ensure every student reaches their potential at St Anne's Catholic Primary School.</p>
<p>Our motto, “Faith and Knowledge” summarises two key aspects of our learning community. In addition to our quality academic programs, students are able to participate in a range of academic, cultural and sporting activities.</p>
