<p>This position will support students at the Hospital School, located at the Canberra Hospital School. The successful applicant will be responsible for developing learning experiences through inquiry-based learning, utilising creative pedagogical and differentiated learning approaches to support engagement for all children and young people (P-12). You will work with families and home schools to keep children and young people connected to their learning and </p>
<p>The role involves working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team to develop positive and productive relationships with children and young people, working in an inclusive and trauma informed way</p>
<p><strong>Eligibility/Other Requirements:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>A minimum of 4 years full time (or equivalent) tertiary study leading to the award of a recognised school teaching qualification.</li>
<li>Current professional teaching registration with the ACT Teacher Quality Institute (or eligibility to obtain).</li>
<li>Prior to commencing this role, a current registration issued under the <i>Working with Vulnerable People (Background Checking) Act 2011</i> is required. <p><strong>Note:</strong> This is a temporary position available immediately for a period of 12 months with the possibility of permanency. This position is part-time at (29:40) hours per week and the full-time salary noted above will be pro-rata. A Merit Pool will be established from this selection process and will be used to fill vacancies over the next 12 months. Selection may be based on application and referee reports only.</p>
