St Francis Catholic College, Edmondson Park is located near the junction of the M5 and M7 motorways. It is a rapidly growing K-12 school with a student population of just over 1,500 students in 2025. The college is one school, not a traditional primary school and high school coexisting on the same site. As such, the college is organised into Junior Years Learning (K-4), Middle Years Learning (5-8), and Senior Years Learning (9-12). St Francis is entering its 7th Stage of Building Development and offers state-of-the-art learning & specialist KLA facilities.

<p>The Director of Schools, Diocese of Wollongong, invites applications from suitably experienced leaders of education for the substantive Assistant Principal position at St Francis Catholic College, Edmondson Park. This position is available from the commencement of Term 3, 2025, however the start date is negotiable. </p>
<p>St Francis Catholic College employs a structure of three Assistant Principals and this Assistant Principal position leads the <i>Religious Education, Identity and Mission</i> function across the whole school which covers Kindergarten to Year 12. </p>

<p><strong>QUALIFICATIONS</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Post-graduate study in a relevant discipline.</li>
<li>Accreditation for Senior Leadership in a Catholic School in accordance with the ‘Accreditation to Work, Teach and Lead in Systemic Catholic Schools in the Diocese of Wollongong’ policy (or a commitment to acquiring within a 5 year period).</li>
</ul>
<p><strong>WORKING WITH CHILDREN CLEARANCE</strong></p>
<p>This role is classified as child related work and therefore we require a working with children clearance to be completed prior to your commencement with us.</p>
