<p>We are seeking expressions of interest from highly skilled, reliable, and motivated casual rowing staff for the 2025-26 season.</p> <p>The Genazzano Rowing program is one of the most prominent schoolgirls’ rowing programs in the country with a rich and proud 40 year history. The program caters for approximately 80 girls and is complemented by the College’s whole sport program, including our impressive Physical Performance Centre (PPC), and a supportive parent community.</p> <p>Genazzano Rowing train out of their boatsheds in Hawthorn on the Yarra River and at the Physical Performance Centre at the school’s campus in Kew.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>As a rowing coach at Genazzano FCJ College you will:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Guide student athletes (Years 8–12) through inclusive, engaging training sessions on and off the water, aligned with the Head of Rowing’s program.</li> <li>Commit to all training sessions, regattas, camps, and events, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.</li> <li>Promote a positive, respectful, and inclusive team environment that values teamwork, resilience, empathy, and personal growth.</li> <li>Uphold high safety standards and best coaching practices while planning and delivering effective training sessions.</li> <li>Demonstrate strong communication, organisation, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, staff, and parents.</li> <li>Bring experience in rowing and coaching, a strong technical focus, and a passion for developing athletes of all skill levels.</li> <li>Assist with the operational aspects of the rowing program and contribute proactively as a team player.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <ul> <li>Rowing Australia, Level 1 Coach Accreditation</li> <li>Marine recreational motor boat license</li> <li>Level 1 First Aid Certificate, including CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Management</li> <li>A current Working with Children Check and Police Check</li> <li>Light Rigid Heavy Vehicle License (Optional)<br> &nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>To Apply</strong></p> <p><strong>&nbsp;</strong></p> <p>Please include your resume and a cover letter outlining your suitability for the role.</p> <p>Applications close on Sunday 15 June 2025.</p> <p>Additional information is in the attached Position Description.</p> <p>All enquiries are to be directed to the Head of Rowning - David McGrath <a href="mailto:david.mcgrath@genazzano.vic.edu.au?subject=Casual%20Rowing%20Coaches%20position%20%28via%20Teachers%20On%20Net%29">david.mcgrath@genazzano.vic.edu.au</a></p>
