We have a coaching culture. We need a new team member. This team member will work in our middle community as one of three Learning Adjustments coaches

<p>This position is one of three Learning Adjustment Coaches in our Middles community, beginning Term 3, 2025.</p> <p>The position FTE is negotiable between three or four days per week.</p> <p>As a prioirty, the new team member be able to evidence:</p> <ul> <li>strong social and emotional intelligence</li> <li>confidence in bringing expertise to our community and open to being coached into new learnings</li> <li>excitement at working in an open, flexible learning environment</li> <li>expertise when communicating effectively with parents and colleagues</li> <li>active support of the Catholic Identity of the school community.</li> </ul> <p>It is preferred the new team member:</p> <ul> <li>Has used the key principles and structures of the CECV Intervention Framework as a process for incorporating pedagogical processes of inclusion into practice.</li> <li>Has experience booking consultations, assessments, Program Support Group (PSG) meetings, etc.</li> <li>Has been part of a school NCCD team that ensured appropriate evidence exists in each of the four categories, for all students included on the NCCD submission.</li> <li>Has experience with a range of common disabilities and the typical adjustments, interventions and the supports required.</li> <li>Can lead high quality professional conversations that enhance professional knowledge, expectations and practice.</li> <li>Can model, mentor and coach teachers towards instructional excellence through evidence-informed lesson demonstrations, instructional coaching, observations and feedback.</li> <li>Can support the effective use of data and assessment to track learner progress over time and to evaluate the effectiveness of programs and practices.</li> <li>Can provide staff with individual, team or whole-school PL on SMART goals depending on needs</li> </ul> <p>Special Requirements:&nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Victorian Institute of Teaching registration</li> <li>current Police Check</li> <li>evidence of a commitment to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children.</li> </ul> <p>Applications to the principal -&nbsp; <a href="mailto:<a href='mailto:sharrison@stellamaris.catholic.edu.au?subject=Learning%20Adjustments%20%28Diversity%29%20team%20member%20position%20%28via%20Teachers%20On%20Net%29'>sharrison@stellamaris.catholic.edu.au</a>?subject=Learning%20Adjustments%20%28Diversity%29%20team%20member%20position%20%28via%20Teachers%20On%20Net%29" rel="nofollow"></a><a href="mailto:sharrison@stellamaris.catholic.edu.au?subject=Learning%20Adjustments%20%28Diversity%29%20team%20member%20position%20%28via%20Teachers%20On%20Net%29">sharrison@stellamaris.catholic.edu.au</a></p> <p>https://www.macs.vic.edu.au/MelbourneArchdioceseCatholicSchools/media/About-Us/Policies/Privacy-Collection-Notice-Job-Applicants.pdf</p>
