The People and Culture Coordinator is responsible for supporting the efficient and smooth functioning of systems within the People and Culture Office.

<p>Founded in 1881 by the&nbsp;Marist&nbsp;Brothers, St Joseph’s College is a boarding and day secondary boys’ school, whose Catholic identity is shaped by Marist&nbsp;spirituality and&nbsp;traditions. Governed by Marist Schools Australia, the College enrolment&nbsp;is approximately 1,100 students.</p> <p><strong>People and Culture Coordinator &nbsp;</strong></p> <p><i>Full-time ongoing position – as soon as practicable or by mutual agreement</i></p> <p>The People and Culture Coordinator is responsible for supporting the efficient and smooth functioning of systems within the People and Culture Office. Working collaboratively with both the Director and the People and Culture Manager, you will be involved in both day-to-day activities and processes improvement initiatives across the employee lifecycle including recruitment, contracts, letter writing, onboarding/offboarding and data management.</p> <p>Previous experience working in a similar Human Resources role with relevant qualifications would be highly regarded but is not essential. To be successful in this role you will need to be able to demonstrate the following:</p> <ul> <li>Experience in working with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS). Experience in the <i>Aurion</i> HRIS, in particular, and supporting the payroll team&nbsp;would be highly regarded but is not essential</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships in a supportive manner</li> <li>Well-developed verbal and written communication skills</li> <li>Ability to adapt quickly to HR platforms which deal with recruitment, onboarding and communication with payroll etc.</li> <li>High level of initiative to enhance and improve current processes</li> <li>High level of proficiency with the Microsoft Office suite, Google Drive, Microsoft Teams, and complex database management</li> <li>Ability to manage conflicting deadlines and prioritising tasks</li> </ul> <p>The successful applicant will work in a modern work environment, with a very positive and supportive culture, located close to public transport and free parking.
