Ballarat, VIC

Principal / Head of School

Contract Type: Contract Position Full Time

Applications Close: 15 June 2025

A rare opportunity to lead a school that celebrates tradition while embracing growth, in one of Victoria’s most scenic and culturally rich coastal towns.

Located in the picturesque coastal township of Port Fairy, at the western gateway of Victoria’s iconic Great Ocean Road, St Patrick’s Primary School has been a cornerstone of education since 1849. From its modest beginnings in a single-room schoolhouse, the school has evolved into a dynamic and modern learning environment—proudly honouring the legacy of the Good Samaritan Sisters and the values they instilled.

Inspired by our guiding mantra, “Give Yourself to Goodness,” St Patrick’s fosters a vibrant, inclusive, and faith-filled community where every child is supported to thrive academically, emotionally, and spiritually.

We invite an inspiring educational leader to lead with integrity, compassion, and a deep commitment to Catholic values; to inspire excellence and foster innovation in teaching and learning; and to build strong, enduring partnerships with staff, families, the parish, and the wider community.

This is a rare opportunity to lead a school that celebrates tradition while embracing growth, in one of Victoria’s most scenic and culturally rich coastal towns.
