We are seeking an organised, motivated team player to work closely with our Deputy Principal; providing executive support to that role, working on and delivering strategic projects and running the day to day functions of the Deputy Principal’s office.

<p><strong>Permanent - Full-Time</strong></p> <p>We are seeking an organised, motivated team player to work closely with our Deputy Principal; providing executive support to that role, working on and delivering strategic projects and running the day to day functions of the Deputy Principal’s office.</p> <p>The Deputy Principal’s Executive Officer (DPEO) will work closely with senior management and administrators within the School and also provide administrative support to the Director of Teaching &amp; Learning when required. The successful candidate will understand and maintain strict confidentiality, have a flexible approach to work and the ability to use their initiative at a high level.&nbsp;</p> <p>The DPEO will be an excellent team member with a service orientation; providing effective support across a range of duties.</p> <p>The successful applicant will show experience and understanding of the following areas:</p> <ul> <li>Strong written, verbal, analytical and problem solving skills.&nbsp;</li> <li>High level of interpersonal skills and ability to deal with staff, the Board of Governors, the Quaker community, parents, students and the general public.&nbsp;</li> <li>Ability to exercise initiative and responsibility in day-to-day work and maintain strict confidentiality.</li> <li>Highly motivated, well organised and flexible approach to work with the ability to work as a member of a team.&nbsp;</li> <li>High level of computer literacy, using standard software packages for word processing, spreadsheets, administrator level database management and email.</li> </ul> <p>This is a permanent, full-time role with the successful candidate commencing as soon possible.&nbsp;</p> <p>A comprehensive position description is provided under the employment section of The Friends’ School website:&nbsp;<a href="http://www.friends.tas.edu.au/employment" rel="nofollow">www.friends.tas.edu.au/employment</a>.</p> <p>Applications must include:</p> <p>●&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; An introductory letter outlining your interest and suitability in the role</p> <p>●&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; Your resume</p> <p>●&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp; A completed employment application form</p> <p>and should be received by 9.00 am, Tuesday 10 June 2025.
