<p>We are seeking applications for a Food Preparer for our Early Learning Centre and After School Hours Care .&nbsp; This person will be responsible for providing healthy fresh, diverse and wholesome menus catering for up to 44 children a day, aged 3-5 years, in a long day care centre. They will also provide afternoon tea for the OSHC program</p> <p>This is a casual position, working 5 hours a day, Monday to Friday.&nbsp; The position commences in July.</p> <p>OLSH Catholic College has outstanding staff and&nbsp;facilities.</p> <p>Come and experience the unique quality of life in Alice Springs. It's relaxed, friendly, a great place to raise a family and the people love to stop and have a chat.&nbsp; There is every kind of sport here that you could want and we seem to have more festivals, markets and events than most cities.&nbsp;</p> <p>Let's not forget, Alice Springs is set in the beautiful MacDonnell Ranges which provides many unique opportunities for those who are adventurous.</p> <p><strong>Skills and experience</strong></p> <p>Essential Criteria:</p> <ul> <li>Qualifications in food safety and food allergy training;</li> <li>Experience in the preparation of meals and budgets;</li> <li>Be able to work unsupervised and in close proximity with others;</li> <li>Excellent time management skills;</li> <li>Have good knowledge of food allergies, family/cultural preferences;</li> <li>Have excellent written and verbal communication skills;</li> <li>Have a great imagination, creative thinking and can do attitude especially when making healthy food look and taste delicious for young children;</li> <li>First Aid Certificate, including Anaphylaxis and Asthma training (HLTAOD004);</li> <li>NT Working with Children Card or the ability to obtain one;</li> <li>A current driver's license; and,</li> <li>Be residing in Australia.
