The Manager of Student Administration and Education Technology plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of student data, compliance, and educational technology resources. This position oversees the school's student information system, statutory reporting, data analysis, and the implementation of educational technology to enhance student outcomes.

<p><strong>Our Young People </strong></p>
<p>Young people come from diverse backgrounds and often face a significant and complex range of educational, social, developmental, psychological, health, legal barriers to learning which require unique interventions. Our approach is grounded in the Operation By Principles framework, which combines education with an understanding of trauma-informed practices. We recognise that each young person’s journey is unique. Our staff are committed to providing a safe, respectful, and empowering learning environment where young people can develop confidence, reconnect with education, and work towards their goals. </p>
<p><strong>Our Team </strong></p>
<p>Our eight Campuses are supported by a dedicated ‘central’ team that includes: People and Culture; Business Operations; Governance, Risk and Compliance; Innovation, Growth and Business Transformation (IGBT); and Research, Service Improvement and Partnerships. </p>
<p>You’ll be starting up the Student Administration and Education Technology team from scratch by bringing together five existing professional staff, and this new team will reside within IGBT. </p>

<p><strong>The Role </strong></p>
<p>We are looking for a Manager of Student Administration and Educational Technology to join our team. </p>
<p>You will be employed as an ongoing full-time Education Support Employee, under the Catholic Education Multi Enterprise Agreement 2022. </p>
<p>The Manager of Student Administration and Education Technology plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of student data, compliance, and educational technology resources. This position oversees the school's student information system, statutory reporting, data analysis, and the implementation of educational technology to enhance student outcomes. The Manager provides expert advice, training, and support to staff, ensuring the smooth operation of both administrative and technological systems within the school. </p>

<p><strong>You will need</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Ability to commit to and work within our Operating Principles; Respect, Participation, Safe and Legal and Honesty.</li>
<li>Hold a valid Working with Children Check or have the ability to obtain, and a National Police Check certificate (issued within the last six months), or hold a current Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration.</li>
<li>Hold appropriate Australian Work Rights.</li>
<li>Valid Australian Driver’s Licence and willingness to drive school vehicles when required. </li>
</ul>
<p>Experience in Educational Settings:</p>
<ul>
<li>10 + years of proven experience working in a school environment, in a student administration or education technology role.</li>
<li>A strong understanding of the Victorian education system and its requirements. </li>
</ul>
<p>Knowledge of Student Information Systems (SIS):</p>
<ul>
<li>Proficiency in managing and utilizing student information systems.</li>
<li>Experience in data management, reporting, and analysis. </li>
</ul>
<p>Technical Skills:</p>
<ul>
<li>Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications </li>
</ul>
