<ul> <li>Multiple Casual roles</li> <li>All-boys Independent Catholic School, member of the EREA Network</li> <li>$66.15 - $99.59 per hour + Superannuation</li> </ul> <p><strong>About the role</strong></p> <p>The position is responsible for delivering the curriculum material provided for the class by the Teacher that they are relieving, and to provide a duty of care to students in the absence of their regular Teacher.&nbsp; This responsibility is to be fulfilled in a manner which is consistent with the mission, vision, values and expectations of the College.</p> <p><strong>About the contract</strong></p> <p>The position is<strong> casual</strong>.</p> <p><strong>About you</strong></p> <p>To be considered for this role you will need:</p> <ul> <li>Valid working rights within Australia</li> <li>Be committed to the goals, ethos and mission of the College as a Catholic school in the Edmund Rice Tradition.</li> <li>Current registration with the Queensland College of Teachers.</li> <li>Relevant qualifications in Education.</li> <li>Proven experience working in an educational setting with an understanding of the ethos of Catholic Education.</li> <li>Sound knowledge of school operations and relevant policies and procedures.</li> <li>Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication and conflict resolution skills when dealing with multiple stakeholders, including students, staff, parents and the wider college community.</li> <li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and use initiative and self direction where required.</li> <li>Excellent organisational, administrative and time management skills.</li> <li>Intermediate computer skills and the ability to use Microsoft office products as well as school database management systems.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About our Organisation</strong></p> <p>Ignatius Park College is an all-boys Independent Catholic secondary school located in Townsville, North Queensland catering for approximately 950 boys from Years 7-12.&nbsp; The College is a member of the Edmund Rice Education Australia (EREA) network of 55 schools across Australia.&nbsp; Ignatius Park College has a tradition of academic, cultural, sporting, spiritual and personal excellence by providing the highest standards of staff, facilities and opportunities for students in a caring Christian environment.
