<p>St George Preca School is seeking a 0.4 FTE Physical Education Teacher commencing Term 3 (Tuesday &amp; Wednesday preferred, however days can be negotiated). This is a fixed-term contract for suitably experienced teachers. Graduate teachers are welcome to apply.</p> <p>St George Preca Parish Primary School in the Parish of St Catherine of Siena, Caroline Springs. The 2025 enrolment is approx. 730 students from Prep to Grade 6.</p> <p>We are seeking a teacher committed to developing their professional knowledge and skills for the benefit of the students in their care.</p> <p>Applicants must be able to:</p> <ul> <li>demonstrate a strong commitment to the ideals and ethos of Catholic Education</li> <li>contribute as a member of a Professional Learning Team, planning and teaching in a collaborative environment focused on continual improvement</li> <li>teach effectively to the diverse range of learning needs enriching the learning for all students</li> <li>use data to inform teaching</li> <li>have the ability to inspire and encourage students with a love of learning</li> <li>demonstrate a commitment to and understanding of contemporary learning and teaching</li> <li>plan, teach, assess, and report to class teachers on the Physical Education and Sports program for 19 classes using the Victorian Curriculum as the main reference</li> <li>Set a budget, monitor and purchase Physical Education equipment/resources</li> <li>Coordinate and oversee the School Athletics &amp; Swimming Carnivals</li> <li>Assist senior school class teachers with inter-school organisation – Summer and Winter seasons</li> <li>Coordinate school representatives for zone and regional swimming; cross-country; athletics</li> <li>Coordinate whole school events eg.
