The College seeks a motivated and knowledgeable TAS Assistant. The successful applicant will join a collaborative team of educators in the TAS Department in a support role.

<p>Founded in 1881 by the&nbsp;Marist&nbsp;Brothers, St Joseph’s College is a boarding and day secondary boys’ school, whose Catholic identity is shaped by Marist&nbsp;spirituality and&nbsp;traditions. Governed by Marist Schools Australia, the College enrolment&nbsp;is approximately 1,100 students.</p> <p><strong>Technological and Applied Studies (TAS) Assistant</strong></p> <p><i>Full time, ongoing, Term-time only</i></p> <p><i>Commencing as soon as possible or by mutual agreement</i></p> <p>The College seeks a motivated and knowledgeable TAS Assistant. The successful applicant will join a collaborative team of educators in the TAS Department in a support role.&nbsp;</p> <p>The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate&nbsp;the ability to:</p> <ul> <li>Displays a professional, approachable, and solutions-focused attitude in all interactions.</li> <li>Demonstrates initiative by seeking opportunities to improve systems, processes, and overall efficiency within the TAS department.</li> <li>Brings strong organisational skills, with proven ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise competing demands, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.</li> <li>Maintains high standards of accuracy, attention to detail, confidentiality, and follow-through in all work.</li> <li>Communicates effectively both verbally and in writing, adapting style to suit a range of audiences and maintaining discretion with sensitive information.</li> <li>Builds and maintains productive working relationships, demonstrating emotional intelligence, teamwork, and respect in all professional dealings.</li> <li>Possesses strong computer literacy, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Teams, and Google Workspace, and demonstrates a willingness to learn contemporary administrative practices.</li> </ul> <p>Previous trade or TAS teaching background would be considered an advantage.&nbsp;</p> <p>The successful applicant will work in a modern work environment, with a very positive and supportive culture, located close to public transport and free parking.
