We have a wonderful opportunity for an experienced teacher or a new graduate within our Visual Arts and/or Technologies team. Suitably qualified professionals who have an enthusiasm for and/or experience teaching Stage 4-6 Visual Arts and/or Technologies are invited to apply.

The ideal applicant will have a dynamic and proactive approach to teaching, enthusiasm for teaching young people and professional values. Ensuring high quality educational outcomes and meeting the highest possible standards for our students are part of our values and ethos.

This is a maternity leave position (Temporary 12 months, full time)

As our College is growing from 3 to 4 streams in Secondary, there is a possibility that this position may turn into a permanent position for 2026.

The successful candidate will have the ability to:

  • Demonstrate enthusiasm for and/or experience in teaching Visual Arts and/or Technologies the HSC
  • Drive academic improvements in the area of literacy and numeracy from Years 7 to 12
  • Demonstrate highly developed interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to build and maintain excellent relationships with staff, students and parents
  • Work collaboratively within a team to lead in further development of the faculty
  • Model, promote and represent the College's Vision, Misson and Values
  • Contribute to the innovative educational direction that exists within the College
  • Differentiate in the classroom and promote growth for each individual student
  • Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the curriculum and assessment
  • Implement digital literacy with regard to application of pedagogy
  • Present appropriate tertiary qualifications, including teaching qualifications
  • Assent to the College's Statement of Faith

NESA accreditation and a current Working With Children Check is required.
