Religious Education Coordinator
Contract Type: Permanent/Ongoing Position Full Time

We are seeking a committed Religious Education Coordinator to lead and enrich the spiritual and religious life of our school community, commencing 21 July 2025. The successful candidate will oversee the development and delivery of the Religious Education curriculum, support staff in faith formation, and foster strong connections with the wider Church community.
<p><strong>About Daramalan College </strong></p>

<p><strong>About the Role </strong></p>
<p>The successful candidate will lead, develop and promote the ethos and character of the school, which was established by the MSC. They will be responsible for leading the Religious Education department in curriculum design and delivery, supporting staff within the department and leading and engaging in professional learning. The successful candidate will work closely with the Assistant Principal Faith and Mission, in delivering the MSC vision for education.</p>

<p><strong>SELECTION CRITERIA</strong></p>
<p>Specific requirements for this role include:</p>
<ol>
<li>Appropriate qualifications and relevant experience for the role. </li>
<li>Commitment to support, promote and undertake ongoing formation in MSC Spirituality. </li>
<li>Demonstrated deep knowledge of the curriculum and excellent teaching practice</li>
<li>Demonstrated commitment to professional learning and is up to date with current research regarding pedagogy and curriculum.</li>
<li>An ability to create a positive and collaborative work environment and the ability to lead change.</li>
<li>The ability to effectively supervise and lead staff within a department. </li>
<li>Effective conflict resolution skills and high-level administrative and communication skills.</li>
<li>Registration with TQI and a valid WWVP.</li>
<li>Is a practicing Catholic who is able to supply a reference from their Parish Priest.</li>
