The School is co-educational ELC-6, and girls only 7-12.</p> <p>Due to parental leave, we are inviting applications for a <strong>Permanent Full-Time Junior School Sports Coordinator </strong>to commence in Term 3 2025.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>The role:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Reporting to the Head of Sport, lead the development and implementation of the Junior School Sports Program, which includes an afternoon sports day and Saturday sports&nbsp;</li> <li>Work closely with Junior School specific stakeholders; for example, IPSHA, to ensure the effective management of team sports</li> <li>Work with the Sports Assistants to ensure a smooth transition of coaches and resources across the different sporting seasons</li> <li>Assist in the organisation of the IPSHA and other carnivals, trials, and other initiatives&nbsp;</li> <li>First point of contact relating to sports offerings and other related enquiries in the Junior School setting&nbsp;</li> <li>Working days are Tuesday - Saturday&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>The ideal candidate:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated experience in a similar role will be highly regarded, or a Teacher looking to transition into such a role</li> <li>Demonstrated experience working with IPSHA or other external sporting associations</li> <li>Demonstrated experience managing a large operation</li> <li>Highly effective communication skills – written and verbal</li> <li>Ability to engage with and develop effective relationships with a range of personalities and age groups</li> <li>High-level administrative skills with proficiency across standard IT platforms and software</li> <li>Involvement or experience in coaching or playing at a high level.
