Inspired by the legacy of St Maximilian Kolbe, a story of heroism, courage and self-sacrifice, Kolbe Catholic College provides opportunities for students to become the men and women they want to be - courageous leaders, academics, life-long learners, musicians, artists, trades people, sports people.&nbsp;<br><br><strong>About the roles:</strong></p> <p>The Curriculum Leader (Innovation and Growth) is responsible to the Principal, through the Deputy Principal (Learning &amp; Teaching) and the Director of Pedagogy, for effectively implementing learning &amp; teaching practices across the college campuses that support excellence in student learning and teacher pedagogical practice.</p> <p>Your duties will include:</p> <ul> <li>work with members of the College Leadership Team in the implementation of the College Annual Action Plan and provision of exemplary educational experiences, which reflect the values and beliefs espoused in the College Purpose Statement.</li> <li>In conjunction with the Deputy Principal (Learning &amp; Teaching) and the Director of Pedagogy, develop and share in the implementation of sequential programs designed to address all areas of the Victorian Curriculum, in an innovative, challenging, student-centred curriculum</li> <li>Work with the College Leadership Team, Directors of Students, other Curriculum Leaders and Year Level Leaders in the development of a whole school approach and commitment to student learning and wellbeing.</li> <li>Share in being a presence in the school and wider community.</li> <li>Liaise with and support the wider Curriculum Leader Team to ensure a shared approach to pedagogy, curriculum, assessment and processes across campuses and year levels.</li> <li>Oversee and support the roles and duties assigned to the Learning Leaders and Course Convenors in their responsibilities for pedagogy, assessment and reporting, and resources.</li> </ul> <p>A detailed list of additional responsibilities can be found in the job description attached.</p> <p><strong>Position Details&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>Level 4 Position of Leadership&nbsp;</li> <li>Start date: January 2026</li> <li>Three-year tenure with with the potential for an ongoing teaching position.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Skills and experience:</strong></p> <p>To be successful in this position you will have the following:</p> <ul> <li>An understanding of contemporary pedagogy and the ability to differentiate, and provide for, a diverse range of abilities</li> <li>Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to liaise and communicate effectively with people at all levels and from varying backgrounds</li> <li>Sound organisational and administrative skills</li> <li>A proven capacity to work independently and effectively in the face of changing priorities, deadlines and pressure</li> <li>The ability to collaborate in a committed team of professional teachers, dedicated to providing quality teaching and learning in partnership with the parent community</li> <li>A capacity to work with staff to build capacity and facilitate dynamic teamwork</li> <li>A capacity for creative problem-solving and adaptability</li> <li>A commitment to ongoing professional learning</li> <li>Exemplary teaching skills and practices</li> <li>Generosity of spirit.<br> &nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>Please be prepared to attach your response to the Key Selection Criteria questions found in the job description, with your resume and cover letter when submitting your application.</p> <p>Applications Close: 4:00pm, Friday 30th May 2025</p> <p>For more information about Kolbe Catholic College, please go to our website www.kolbecc.catholic.edu.au</p> <p>Kolbe Catholic College is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care, including maintaining compliance with the Child Safety Code of Conduct.&nbsp;</p>
