<p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p> <p>Are you a visionary and passionate educational leader, eager to make a lasting impact on the academic and personal growth of young students? St Patrick’s College is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as Head of School – Croagh Patrick. This is a remarkable opportunity to lead our Croagh Patrick Campus, a unique and purpose-built Year 9 learning environment designed to meet the specific developmental needs of adolescents.</p> <p>The Croagh Patrick Campus focuses on fostering independence, resilience, and leadership in a smaller, supportive setting adjacent to the main College campus. With a strong emphasis on pastoral care and wellbeing, Croagh Patrick provides a tailored educational experience that supports the transition to adulthood. Programs like The Rite Journey guide students along their path of personalgrowth, while an engaging and relevant curriculum, outdoor education experiences, and targeted wellbeing initiatives help cultivate a strong sense of belonging and community.</p> <p>As the Head of School – Croagh Patrick, you will play a vital leadership role in overseeing the Year 9 program and the overall operation of the Croagh Patrick Campus. You will ensure alignment with the mission of St Patrick’s College, leading the development of both academic and pastoral programs, and ensuring a holistic and enriching educational experience for all students.</p> <p>Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2024.</p> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <p>As an experienced educational leader, with a passion for Catholic education,&nbsp;coupled with your outstanding communication and organisational skills, you will have:</p> <ul> <li>Proven leadership experience, particularly in supporting the developmental needs of adolescent learners.</li> <li>Ability to lead and inspire a small, supportive Year 9 learning environment with a focus on pastoral care, wellbeing, and personal growth.</li> <li>Demonstrated experience in managing and implementing innovative programs such as The Rite Journey to guide students through their transition to adulthood.</li> <li>Expertise in fostering independence, resilience, leadership, and a strong sense of belonging among students.</li> <li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage students, staff, and the broader community.</li> <li>Ability to develop and oversee a tailored curriculum that meets the specific needs of Year 9 students while aligning with the College’s mission.</li> <li>Collaborative leadership style, with experience in mentoring staff and creating a positive and inclusive school culture.</li> <li>Passion for creating a supportive, engaging, and holistic educational experience for all students.</li> <li>Understanding of the mission and ethos of St Patrick’s College as a Catholic school community.</li> </ul> <p>CET supports the rights of children and young people and is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment directed at ensuring their safety and wellbeing.&nbsp; The successful candidate will require satisfactory registrations relevant to child safety.&nbsp; &nbsp;</p> <p><strong>About Us</strong></p> <p>St Patrick’s is a Catholic co-educational Year 7-12 college of approximately 1,500 students with a strong academic culture that encourages individual students to develop to their full potential through a broad educational experience.&nbsp; The College is structured&nbsp;into a three school model of learning,&nbsp;incorporating the Middle School (Years 7 and 8), Croagh Patrick (Year 9) and Senior School (Years 10-12).
