We focus on a whole-school approach that brings consistency through our bespoke&nbsp;<i>Great Learning, Well People</i>&nbsp;framework, where the learning, wellbeing, pastoral and spiritual needs of students is prioritised, and excellence is pursued.</p> <p><strong>About the Role</strong></p> <p>We are currently seeking a compassionate and qualified <strong>School Counsellor</strong> to join our dedicated team and support the wellbeing of our students from Kindergarten to Year 12.</p> <p>As a School Counsellor at PCS, you will play a vital role in promoting student wellbeing and pastoral care. You will provide individual and group counselling, collaborate with staff and families, develop educative programs, and contribute to a safe and supportive Christian school environment.</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide short to medium term counselling for students</li> <li>Demonstrated expertise in the assessment and treatment of a wide range of psycho-social issues preferred</li> <li>Conduct assessments and develop intervention strategies</li> <li>Work collaboratively with teachers, parents, and external professionals to provide specific advice</li> <li>Implement, monitor and evaluate support interventions</li> <li>Develop and consult with staff about wellbeing programs and initiatives</li> <li>Implement Individual Plans for students&nbsp;</li> <li>Respond to critical incidents</li> <li>Conduct interviews with new students applying to enter the school if required</li> <li>Maintain accurate and confidential records in line with ethical standards</li> <li>Other duties as directed by Supervisor or Principal</li> </ul> <p><strong>About You</strong></p> <p>With the ability to work collaboratively in key role within our wellbeing team, your Christian faith will be evident in your ability to integrate an authentic Christian worldview into your practice and support of students and their families.
