This includes knowledge of the key concepts, content strands, and assessment strategies</li> <li>ability to coordinate Sydney Catholic Schools' sports program for the College's Stage 2 and 3 students</li> <li>proven ability to plan, implement, and evaluate engaging and differentiated PDHPE lessons that cater to the diverse learning needs of students in Years K-8</li> <li>effective classroom management strategies to create a positive and supportive learning environment conducive to physical activity and open discussion of health and personal development topics</li> <li>excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with students, parents, colleagues, and the wider school community. Strong interpersonal skills, including empathy, patience, and the ability to build positive relationships with young adolescents</li> <li>confidence with the integration of technology into the curriculum to promote quality learning principles</li> <li>a strong understanding of safety protocols and risk management procedures relevant to physical activities, sports, and health-related topics. Ability to conduct risk assessments and implement safety measures</li> <li>knowledge of the physical, social, emotional, and cognitive development of students in the junior and middle school years</li> <li>experience in teaching PDHPE within these age groups would be highly desirable</li> <li>a genuine enthusiasm for promoting healthy lifestyles, physical activity, and positive personal development in young people</li> <li>a strong commitment to the holistic wellbeing of students, understanding the interconnectedness of physical, social, emotional, and mental health</li> <li>ability to work effectively as part of a team within the PDHPE department and the wider school</li> <li>a high level of professionalism, including punctuality, organisation, and a proactive approach to professional development</li> <li>an understanding and an ability to support the Catholic life of the College.</li> </ul> <p><strong>You will have attained:</strong></p> <ul> <li>a tertiary qualification in Education</li> <li>eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA).</li> </ul> <p><strong>Application Process</strong><br><br> Please click on the 'Apply' button and follow the steps to submit your application.
