<p>MHIPS (Mental Health in Primary Schools)&nbsp;</p> <p>The role of the MHIPS &nbsp;Leader is to build the capability of the whole school community about mental health and wellbeing (identification, promotion and prevention).</p> <p>The role of the Wellbeing Leader is to work collaboratively&nbsp;with staff to lead, support and embed wellbeing practices and processes across the school.&nbsp;</p> <p>The duties include but are not limited to:</p> <p>&nbsp;• Provide leadership to staff to better identify and support student mental health needs&nbsp;</p> <p>• Lead The Resilience Project across the school</p> <p>• Monitor and evaluate student progress&nbsp;</p> <p>• Research and implement evidence based strategies to support mental health</p> <p>&nbsp;• Lead a whole school approach to mental health&nbsp;</p> <p>• Attendance Monitoring&nbsp;</p> <p>• Social Skills Groups Oversight</p> <p>* Engage in community education regarding Wellbeing and Mental Health</p> <p>* Organise and communicate Inform and Empower Sessions</p> <p>* Advise on Wellbeing planning across all levels</p> <p>&nbsp;• Participate in completing MHIPS Training and Communities of Practice ( as required)</p>
