Saint Ignatius' College is seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Music Tutor – French Horn and Trumpet to provide private tutorials for student's in year 5 and 6 with the possibility of this extending to year 7 – 12. This position also includes teaching trumpet for our Regis Music Activities Program (Yr 5 and 6 instrument tuition groups). This is a casual position, starting in Term 3, 2025.

This position also includes teaching trumpet for&nbsp;our Regis Music Activities Program (Yr 5 and 6 instrument tuition groups). There is also an opportunity in the future to be considered for roles in Co-Curricular Music Ensembles. Experience with other Brass instruments could be an advantage.</p> <p>This is a casual position, starting in Term 3, 2025. &nbsp;</p> <p>The successful candidate will:</p> <ul> <li>hold the appropriate qualifications and be an experienced tutor of the French Horn and Trumpet</li> <li>demonstrate an understanding of and a commitment to the Mission and Values of the College</li> <li>demonstrate collaborative practices and a commitment to working as part of a team</li> <li>demonstrate excellent interpersonal and communication skills</li> <li>demonstrate excellent organisational skills and high levels of attention to details</li> <li>demonstrate an ability to successfully develop and direct rehearsals and performances&nbsp;</li> <li>demonstrate the ability to take initiative and follow processes and procedures</li> <li>hold a current Working with Children Check and be committed to safeguarding and promoting the safety, welfare and well-being of children and young people</li> </ul>
