Our staff are genuinely a collaborative, innovative, supportive and hard-working team that possesses great humour, joy in their work and "a can do" attitude.&nbsp;<br> Come and be part of a wonderful community.&nbsp;<br><br><strong>Position Highlights</strong><br><br> Immaculate Heart of Mary, Sefton is seeking a highly-skilled teacher with an interest in teaching sport three days a week (Tues-Thurs) to students of all abilities from K-6.&nbsp;<br><br> This <strong>part-time, temporary</strong> role is scheduled to commence on <strong>Monday, 26 May 2025 </strong>(or as soon as can be negotiated). Base salary ranges from $87,550 to $125,763</li> <li>salary packaging of up to $15,900 annually</li> <li>up to 25% discount on school fees for parents of SCS students</li> <li>ongoing training and development opportunities</li> <li>discounts on gym classes and memberships, activewear, healthy meals, and wellbeing products</li> <li>generous Employee Referral Program.</li> </ul> <p><strong>About You</strong><br><br> As a <strong>Primary Sports Teacher</strong>, you work to ensure every student reaches their full potential through high-quality, collaborative and engaging pedagogy.<br><br> To excel in this role, you will be able to:</p> <ul> <li>create and implement engaging, rigorous planned physical education learning experiences catering to the diverse needs of students</li> <li>demonstrate sound knowledge in developing a K-6 PDHPE Curriculum and the application of effective learning pedagogies</li> <li>support the inclusive Catholic religious and cultural environment for students</li> <li>demonstrate excellent behaviour management skills focused on student well-being.</li> </ul> <p>You will have attained:</p> <ul> <li>a tertiary qualification in Education</li> <li>eligibility according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)</li> <li>Religious Education qualifications or the willingness to achieve them as per <a href="https://sydcatholicschools.nsw.edu.au/policies/accreditation-policy-to-work-teach-and-lead-in-sydney-catholic-schools">Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead</a>.</li> </ul> <p><strong>Application Process</strong><br><br> Please click on the 'Apply' button and follow the steps to submit your application.
