An exciting opportunity exists to join the team at Marist College, Emerald in the leadership position of Assistant Principal: Administration from Term 3, 2025 or as negotiated with the successful applicant.

<p>Applications are invited for the position of Assistant Principal: Administration (APA) to join the leadership team at Marist College, Emerald.</p>
<p>The position of APA acknowledges the importance of organisation of systems and the management of daily operations within Catholic schools. It is to assist with this particular aspect of the Principal’s leadership role that the role of APA has been created. The APA focuses on providing leadership in the overall organisation of school systems, according to Diocesan policies and practices.</p>
<p>The successful applicant will have a deep commitment to providing quality Catholic education based on your faith, participate in the life of the parish, as well as have appropriate teaching experience, academic qualifications and leadership qualities.</p>

<p><strong>About us</strong></p>
<p><strong>Marist College, Emerald </strong>is a catholic co-educational secondary college situated in the Central Highlands, three hours west of Rockhampton. The College draws students from Emerald as well as surrounding rural areas including Gindie, Springsure, the Gemfields, Clermont, Blackwater, Tieri and many rural properties and currently caters for years with an enrolment of 705 students.</p>
<p><strong>Mandatory Requirements </strong></p>

<li>Relevant tertiary qualifications and the ability to obtain approved Queensland College of Teachers Registration</li>
