<p>This is a role aimed at supporting secondary students (7-10) who require support across Key Learning Areas.&nbsp;</p> <p>The role reports to the executive team and the Learning Support Team Leader. This can be a PT or FT role working a minimum of 3 days a week.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key responsibilities will include:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provide direction and assist the teaching support team of 2 staff members.</li> <li>Have proficient classroom management skills</li> <li>Maintaining record keeping of Individualised Learning Plans</li> <li>Addressing individual student needs delivering literacy and numeracy interventions</li> <li>Proficient in IT</li> <li>Collect and use a range of evidence to assess, evaluate and improve teaching and learning practices</li> <li>Have strong interpersonal skills that facilitate collaboration and quality relationships in working with others and students</li> <li>Work with class teachers to deliver targeted learning in 1:1 settings as well as small group support</li> <li>Provide regular feedback to students, teachers and parents</li> <li>MacqLit or other intervention program experience is an advantage&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Experience working with students who have dyslexia and ASD will be looked upon favourably.&nbsp;</strong></p> <p><strong>Qualifications:</strong></p> <p>• Bachelor Degree in Education,</p> <p>• Teaching support qualifications will be highly regarded.</p> <p>• Experience as a Learning support teacher</p> <p>• Current WWCC</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
