At Our Lady of Mount Carmel, we are passionate about our students and their wellbeing and education. We are looking for a passionate and vibrant classroom teacher for Prep. This is a maternity leave position with the possibility of increasing FTE and becoming ongoing. Please note this position may be filled before applications close if we find the right applicant.
<p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The successful applicant will have:<br> &nbsp;</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>An understanding of contemporary learning &amp; teaching&nbsp;</p> <p>A commitment to MACS 2030 Strategic Plan and Vision for Instruction</p> <p>A demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the Science of Learning</p> <p>Strong collaboration skills</p> <p>Enthusiasm and flexibility</p> <p>Commitment to Catholic Education&nbsp;</p> <p>Strong communication skills</p> <p>Experience and expertise with the following is highly desirable:</p> <p>- Explicit Instruction</p> <p>- Accreditation to teach RE</p> <p>- VIT registration (essential)<br> &nbsp;</p> <p>The OLMC community is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.
