Officer who can bring those values to life across our school grounds and buildings to join our College on a full-time, ongoing contract.<br><br> This is a hands-on role that balances maintenance work and gardening/groundskeeping, supporting our students and staff with spaces that are safe, clean, and ready for learning and community connection.<br><br> The days and hours of work are Monday to Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm.<br> &nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:</strong><br> &nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Fixing and maintaining school buildings—doors, locks, windows, plastering, painting, and more</li> <li>Tackling basic plumbing, tiling, and concreting repairs</li> <li>Responding to facilities requests through our internal helpdesk system</li> <li>Conducting inspections and proactive maintenance to prevent issues before they arise</li> <li>Maintaining lawns, garden beds, and landscaped areas across our campuses</li> <li>Using ride-on mowers, trimmers, blowers, and other machinery to keep everything looking its best</li> <li>Seasonal planting, pruning, mulching, fertilising, and weed/pest management</li> <li>Assisting with irrigation and supporting the natural environment of our school</li> <li>Helping set up and pack down for school events, sports days, and community activities</li> <li>Supporting safe access and movement around the school during works or events</li> <li>Working as part of a Facilities team committed to reliability, flexibility, and teamwork</li> </ul> <p><br><strong>The sucessful candidate will have the following experience, skills and attributes:</strong><br> &nbsp;</p> <ul> <li>Relevant qualifications in building maintenance, horticulture, or a trade (e.g. Cert II or III)</li> <li>Experience in both general maintenance and gardening/groundskeeping</li> <li>A current AQF II Chemical Safety Certificate (or willingness to obtain – desirable)</li> <li>Strong teamwork skills and the ability to work independently when needed</li> <li>Reliable, punctual, and proactive with great time management</li> <li>Confident using tools, machinery, and digital maintenance systems</li> <li>Clear communication skills for working with staff, students, and contractors</li> <li>Knowledge of OH&amp;S practices and a strong safety mindset</li> <li>A high attention to detail and pride in
