<p><strong><u>The role:</u></strong></p>
<p>Applications are invited for appropriately qualified Learning Enrichment Teachers with a track record of success overseeing learning support activities 7-12.<strong> This is a permanent full-time role commencing ASAP (start date negotiable).</strong></p>
<p>A key role within Kambala's senior school, this newly-scoped position manages the secondary Learning Enrichment team, coordinating staff and work within the department to ensure all students under the LE remit are supported as required. It is a leader of specialist pedagogy, developing and enacting strategies, systems, and structures that enable everyone to achieve their potential within a culture of inclusivity and connectedness. Key outputs include:</p>
<ul>
<li>General Head of Department tasks and responsibilities, including faculty staffing and budget.</li>
<li>Oversight and monitoring of all LE practices across 7-12 (e.g. planning, assessment, feedback, documentation).</li>
<li>Oversight of the development, implementation, and review of Individualised Learning Plans.</li>
<li>Documenting, reporting, and tracking of student support needs to meet relevant regulatory and administrative requirements, including NCCD.</li>
<li>Liaising with internal Pastoral staff, parents, and allied health professionals, actioning key findings and recommendations to inform the support provided.</li>
<li>Providing direct support to allocated case load of students.</li>
</ul>
<p><strong><u>The ideal candidate:</u></strong></p>
<ul>
<li>NESA-qualified to teach in NSW.</li>
<li>At least 5 years' direct experience in secondary learning support.</li>
<li>Post-graduate qualifications a plus (but extensive equivalent experience will be viewed equally favourably).</li>
<li>Demonstrated working knowledge of the managerial and administrative aspects of learning support.</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience leading a team of teachers.</li>
<li>A passionate advocate for students with diverse learning needs.</li>
<li>Open-minded and forward-thinking in pedagogical and pastoral practice.</li>
<li>A confident and communicative team player who makes a positive contribution to the life and culture of Kambala.</li>
