This is an exciting opportunity to work within a vibrant and innovative community that values relationships, wellbeing, and educational excellence.</p> <p>The Director of Junior Primary plays a vital leadership role within our school, with key responsibilities including:</p> <ul> <li><strong>Supporting and Encouraging Staff</strong>: Providing daily support, advice, and encouragement to our Prep to Year 2 teachers and student coaches, particularly in the day-to-day busyness of teaching and learning. Your leadership will help foster a nurturing, collaborative, and high-performing environment where both staff and students can feel valued and thrive<br> &nbsp;</li> <li><strong>Student Wellbeing</strong>: Offering guidance and support to our dedicated Student Wellbeing Team, ensuring the holistic needs of our students are met through proactive, compassionate, and strategic approaches to wellbeing, learning support and pastoral care.<br> &nbsp;</li> <li><strong>Community Events and Engagement</strong>: Taking a major role in the coordination and oversight of important community events such as Father’s Day celebrations, the School Colour Run, parent information events, Prep Transition programs and other community-building initiatives. You will be instrumental in strengthening connections between our school and our families, contributing to our vibrant and welcoming school culture.<br> &nbsp;</li> <li><strong>Leadership and Collaboration</strong>: Working closely with the Principal and Executive Leadership Team to deliver on the school’s mission and strategic goals, while championing innovation and continuous improvement across the Junior Primary years.<br> &nbsp;</li> </ul> <p>The successful applicant will be a relational, faith-driven leader who models servant leadership, demonstrates excellent communication and organisational skills, and has a strong commitment to Christian and Lutheran education.
