Receptionist – Visitor and Student Services

We are seeking to appoint an experienced Receptionist in an fixed term position until January 2026, commencing as soon as possible. As a key member of our Visitor and Student Services Reception areas, the Receptionist will play a vital role in ensuring professional daily operations and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere.
The time allocation is 0.14 FTE (2 days per week, 5 hours per day)

<p><strong>About the Role:</strong></p>
<p>The College and Student Services Receptionist is dedicated to providing exceptional customer service to students, staff, families and visitors to the College. This role involves a variety of administrative support tasks, the provision of First Aid services to students, including the administering of medication and the maintenance of accurate student medical records. </p>
<p>This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of the College’s administrative and First Aid functions while providing a welcoming and professional environment for all visitors and members of the College community.</p>
<p><strong>About You:</strong></p>
<ul>
<li>Exceptional customer service skills</li>
<li>Strong administrative, time management, and organisational abilities, including the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment</li>
<li>High-level ICT skills including experience with data bases</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well with others.</li>
<li>Prior experience in the education industry is desirable but not necessary.</li>
<li>Capacity to manage own time and complete multiple tasks within a set time frame</li>
<li>Demonstrated capacity to maintain confidentiality</li>
<li>Clearly and concisely relay information, actively listen to visitors, callers and team members, and provide and accept feedback constructively.</li>
<li>Demonstrate empathy, respect, and the ability to build strong relationships within the team, with students, parents and with visitors.</li>
<li>Collaborate with management, staff and team members to achieve common goals, adapt to new ideas, and prioritise team success over individual achievements.</li>
<li>Support team members and foster a positive work environment.</li>
<li>Attention to detail and accuracy</li>
<li>Current Level 2 First Aid Certificate or willingness to complete prior to employment</li>
<li>Current Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain prior to employment</li>
<li>Current National Police Record Check or willingness to obtain prior to employment</li>
</ul>
