About You

As part of the Diverse Learning Support Team, you will assist the learning facilitators in providing a quality Catholic education focused on maximising student outcomes, through a holistic, student centred curriculum. The schedule, including days, hours, and start date, is flexible and open to negotiation.

Essential Criteria:

  • ability to support for the Catholic identity of the College
  • flexible with the ability and willingness to support students in both a typical classroom environment, as well as in a range of practical classroom settings, including Hospitality (Kitchen), Childcare, Human Services and other VET courses as needed
  • experience supporting students with diverse learning needs, particularly in numeracy and literacy
  • excellent organisational and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • strong interpersonal skills that facilitate quality relationships when working with all students and staff
  • competent in using technology
  • the ability to work both autonomously and also collaboratively and effectively within a team
  • the ability to maintain confidentiality
  • be highly motivated with a strong work ethic and a drive to see positive student outcomes.

You will have attained:

  • a Certificate III or IV in Educational Support from TAFE NSW or equivalent post-secondary qualification, or have recent experience supporting students in an educational setting.
