<p>Don Bosco Primary School, Narre Warren is seeking a faith filled, inspirational and dynamic Deputy Principal to lead learning and teaching in partnership with our staff, student and parent community. The role of the primary deputy principal is to support the Principal and leadership team in managing the planning, delivery, evaluation and improvement of the education of all students at Don Bosco Primary School. It will involve working closely with the Principal in enacting the strategic directions of Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited (DOSCEL) and the strategic deployment of resources, which reflect the following key priorities:</p> <p>• Enlivening faith education and Catholic Identity<br> • Improved learning outcomes for all students<br> • Strengthening and development of expert teacher practice, leadership formation and capacity building<br> • Ongoing commitment to effective and supportive governance.</p> <p>We are seeking a suitably qualified applicant with a proven record of leadership and who aspires to principalship. The position will initially be offered on a fixed-term basis for three years, with opportunity for renewal beginning on the 21st July, 2025.The successful applicant will be offered ongoing employment at the School as a teacher.</p> <p>At Don Bosco Primary School, we look forward to nurturing independent, motivated and lifelong learners through an inclusive, personalised and safe environment.</p> <p>Role Classification: Primary Deputy Principal Level 2 (200 – 399 students) in accordance with the Diocese of Sale Catholic Education Limited Schools and Secretariat Agreement 2022.</p> <p><i>The following requirements underpin the appointment of a Primary Deputy Principal:</i><br> • Accreditation to Teach Religious Education or Lead in a Catholic School.<br> • Current Victorian Institute of Teaching Registration.<br> • Completed or undertaking Masters or Postgraduate qualifications in Education,<br> Leadership or Religious Education.<br> • Demonstrated commitment to the Catholic ethos.<br> • Prior experience in learning and teaching leader roles within an education setting.</p>
