<p><strong>Holy Family Catholic Primary School, KELSO (Bathurst)</strong><br><strong>Co-educational, years K-6 (466 students)</strong><br><strong>Fixed Term, Full time Position</strong><br><strong>Commencing: Term 3 2025 or by negotiation (3 year initial term)</strong></p> <p><br><strong>About the Role</strong><br> Catholic Education Diocese of Bathurst is seeking an experienced and committed Catholic leader to be the next Principal of Holy Family Catholic Primary School in Bathurst. Holy Family Catholic Primary School provides a comprehensive Catholic Education in a&nbsp;caring, family focused environment. The school is transitioning to a three-stream primary school and there are plans for a major building project to support this growth. As the educational leader of our school, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our school and nurturing a positive learning environment.&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <ol> <li><strong>Religious Leadership:</strong> Embody the Catholic faith and values, working closely with the Parish Priest, providing formation for staff and students and fostering an environment that promotes the mission of the Church in Catholic education.</li> <li><strong>Educational Leadership:</strong> Set high expectations for student and staff performance, ensuring a commitment to inclusion, excellence, growth, and achievement for all members of the school community.</li> <li><strong>Capacity Building:</strong> Ensure opportunities for the learning and growth of teachers and staff, promoting continuous professional development and growth aligned to the strategic direction of the school and the CEDB.</li> <li><strong>Engage and work with the community:</strong> Promote an atmosphere of mutual respect and positive, professional, and caring relationships among students, parents, teachers, and staff.</li> <li><strong>Lead the Management of the School:</strong> Prioritise equity and sustainability in the allocation of resources, aligning procedures and processes to support the Catholic educational vision of the school.</li> <li><strong>Lead School Improvement, Innovation and change:</strong> Report to the Executive Director of Schools and uphold the vision and mission of Catholic Education Diocese of Bathurst through Religious, Educational, and Enabling Leadership.</li> </ol> <p>As the Principal Leader of Holy Family Catholic Primary School, you will be instrumental in fostering a nurturing and inclusive environment that aligns with the principles of Catholic education.
