This full-time, permanent position is an exciting opportunity for a skilled educator to inspire young men in their mathematical learning across Stages 4, 5, and 6.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>The successful applicant will have strong content knowledge and the ability to engage students in Mathematics, fostering curiosity and a love of learning.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Key responsibilities include:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Plan and deliver engaging Mathematics lessons that cater to diverse learning styles and abilities.</li> <li>Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and reporting to parents/carers.</li> <li>Assess, evaluate, and provide feedback on student progress in alignment with College policies and NESA guidelines.</li> <li>Collaborate effectively with the Mathematics Faculty and wider teaching staff to create integrated learning experiences.</li> <li>Engage in ongoing professional development.</li> <li>Engage with the broader College community and contribute to pastoral and co-curricular programs.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Essential Criteria:</strong></p> <ul> <li>A working understanding and strong commitment to Catholic values, morals, and faith in the Edmund Rice tradition.</li> <li>Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, or a related field, with a recognised Teaching qualification.</li> <li>Accreditation with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) or eligibility to obtain it.</li> <li>Demonstrated ability to inspire and motivate students, fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment.</li> <li>Excellent communication, organisational, and interpersonal skills.&nbsp;</li> <li>A proactive approach to professional learning and engagement with the wider school community.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p><strong>Highly Desirable Criteria:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Experience teaching Mathematics across Stage 4, 5 and 6.</li> <li>Familiarity with current educational technologies to support learning.&nbsp;</li> <li>An understanding of the unique learning needs of young men.&nbsp;</li> <li>Willingness to participate in College co-curricular activities.</li> </ul> <p>&nbsp;</p> <p>Applicants are encouraged to visit the College website&nbsp;<a href="http://www.stdominics.nsw.edu.au" rel="nofollow">www.stdominics.nsw.edu.au</a>&nbsp;for further information about the College.
