The Multicultural Education Aide (Vietnamese) works collaboratively with families, students and staff to build connections between home and school, and through this supports student learning.
<p>The Multicultural Education Aide (Vietnamese) assists in communicating between home and school through interpreting at meetings and for phone calls, and in translating written material. They support students and their families in developing an understanding of school expectations, assist the school in understanding the home cultures and expectations of families, and help to build links between different cultural communities in the school.&nbsp;</p> <p>The College has a team of four Multicultural Education Aides (Dinka, Arabic, Vietnamese and Burmese). This is a parent leave replacement position which is likely to conclude at the end of the 2025 school year.</p>
