<p><strong>Key responsibilities include:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Supporting the Catholic ethos of the school.&nbsp;</li> <li>Upholding all Child Safe mandates and directives.</li> <li>Being culturally sensitive to support a diverse range of students including those with EAL backgrounds, and/or are from an ATSI background.</li> <li>Assisting classroom teachers in the implementation of school programs.&nbsp;</li> <li>Assisting in the development of resources for learning.&nbsp;</li> <li>Provide assistance to students who require support as identified (cognitive, social-emotional, physical and/or sensory adjustments) through NCCD as directed by the class teacher or Learning Diversity Leader.</li> <li>Liaising with class teachers in the planning and implementation of Personal Learning Programs.&nbsp;</li> <li>Working in a one-to-one small group situation with students as directed by the class teacher.</li> <li>Being present and available during parts of break times to support students in outdoor activities.</li> <li>Supporting students with various extra-curricular activities.</li> <li>Any other duties as directed by the Principal.&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>The successful applicants must have:&nbsp;</strong></p> <ul> <li>&nbsp; &nbsp; a current Working With Children check</li> <li>&nbsp; &nbsp; a current National Police Record Check</li> <li>&nbsp; &nbsp; a commitment to the Catholic ethos of the school.</li> </ul> <p>Applicants should submit a cover letter addressing the above criteria, a current Curriculum Vitae and the contact details of three referees who can attest to the applicant's experience and capabilities.</p> <p>St Joseph's is committed to the safety, wellbeing and protection of all children in our care.</p>
