We’re looking for a highly organised and dynamic Communications Officer to join our vibrant college community. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator who plays an integral role in delivering impactful marketing and communications across the College and our broader community.
<p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p>
<p>St Patrick’s College is seeking a dynamic and talented individual to join our team as a full time Communications Officer. In this role you will be responsible for the administration and support of the College’s communication and community function. As part of our Community Engagement team, you will have the opportunity to collaborate on communication initiatives, craft compelling content, and execute effective communication strategies. The role focuses on the successful delivery of all information and communications, with the goal of enhancing engagement within the College and the broader community. You will be engaging with a range of internal stakeholders, and creating engaging content that conveys our diverse range of activities, projects, and programs. </p>
<p>Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience and in accordance with the Tasmanian Catholic Education Single Enterprise Agreement 2024.</p>
<p><strong>About You</strong></p>
<p>As a highly organised, enthusiastic and excellent communicator you will have:</p>
<ul>
<li>Digital photography and videography skills and experience inc. editing, processing and archiving.</li>
<li>High level computing skills, including skills and experience in online communication mediums and relevant industry software inc. Adobe suite.</li>
<li>A high level of professionalism, attention to detail and exceptional proofreading, editorial and design skills.</li>
<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.</li>
<li>Enjoy working in a dynamic team oriented environment.</li>
<li>An understanding of and ability to contribute to the mission of St Patrick’s College as a Catholic school.</li>
</ul>
