St Patrick's College is seeking reliable casual staff to assist with exam supervision during the following upcoming exam periods: 17 June 2025 (GAT Exam) 27 October 2025 – 17 November 2025 (End of Year Exams) Applicants need to meet the VCAA Conditions of Appointment for Supervisors (refer below).

<p><i><strong>Multiple positions available</strong></i></p> <p>St Patrick's College is a Catholic day and boarding school for boys in Year 7 to 12 in the Edmund Rice tradition. Founded in 1893, it is a beautifully resourced school in terms of its staff and facilities and is known for many things including its energy and sense of community.</p> <p>The College's vision is centred around: "Educating hope-filled, compassionate and confident young men for their place in the world” and is inspired and informed by a commitment to its four pillars: Faith, Tradition, Excellence and Joy, which remain the bedrock of a St Patrick's education.</p> <p>The College is seeking to appoint a number of Exam Supervisors in accordance with VCAA requirements.&nbsp; <strong>Applicants will need to be available for the GAT on Tuesday 17 June, 2025 and must have a valid Employee Working With Children's Check.</strong></p> <p>Applicants need to meet the following VCAA Conditions of Appointment for Supervisors:</p> <p>Exam supervisors cannot be:</p> <p>1. Related to or associated with any student required to sit the GAT or any student undertaking a VCE Unit 3 or 4 study in 2025 at St Patrick's College.</p> <p>2.&nbsp; Teaching any student required to sit the GAT or any student in a VCE Unit 3 or 4 study in 2025.</p> <p>3.&nbsp; Tutoring a student required to sit the GAT or any student in a VCE Unit 3 or 4 study at St Patrick's College.</p> <p>4.&nbsp; Related to or associated with any person engaged in teaching, tutoring or coaching any students required to sit the GAT or any student undertaking a VCE Unit 3 or 4 study in 2025, or any school personnel engaged in organising or checking VCE external assessment material at St Patrick's College.</p> <p>5.&nbsp; Employed by the school as a teaching (excluding CRT) or member of the administration staff</p> <p>All appointed supervisors are required to complete the Supervisor Relationships Statutory Declaration and Conditions of Appointment well in advance of the first day of employment.&nbsp; Supervisors cannot be employed at a school where they have taught VCE Units 1-2 and/or 3-4 in the last two years.</p> <p><strong>Applications will be processed on receipt.</strong></p> <p><strong>Application Process</strong></p> <p><strong>Step 1 - Application to be submitted</strong></p> <p>Applications must include:</p> <ul> <li>Cover letter which sets out your interest in applying for the role, what you offer to the role and a broad outline of experience&nbsp;</li> <li>Resume which sets out relevant work and study experience</li> </ul> <p><strong>Step 2: Video Interview</strong></p> <ul> <li>St Patrick's College will screen initial applications and select applicants who will progress to video interview stage</li> <li>Video Interview link will be emailed to selected applicants&nbsp;</li> </ul> <p><strong>Step 3: Reference Checking</strong></p> <ul> <li>Preferred candidates will be reference checked</li> </ul> <p><strong>Step 4: Appointment</strong></p> <ul> <li>Successful applicants will be invited to attend an induction session with the VCE Coordinator / Chief Examiner</li> </ul> <p>St Patrick’s College is an Equal Opportunity Employer and encourages applications from Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples.</p> <p>The College holds the care, safety and wellbeing of children and young people as a central and fundamental responsibility.</p> <p>&nbsp;</p>
