The Risk Manager will join a highly collaborative and forward-thinking Corporate Services team in support of an exemplary culture of accountability, care and continuous improvement.</p><p>The <strong>Risk Manager</strong> reports to the <strong>Director of Business</strong> for the design, implementation and review of risk, compliance and OH&amp;S systems.</p><p>The <strong>Risk Manager</strong> provides strategic and operational integration of the School’s risk, compliance and occupational health and safety frameworks. The role encompasses policy development, stakeholder education, legal and regulatory advice, risk mitigation planning, incident response, and internal audit coordination in a calm, relational and highly informed manner.</p><p>The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to:</p><ul><li>Implement and maintain all risk, compliance and OH&amp;S systems across diverse stakeholder groups</li><li>Navigate regulatory frameworks and child safety standards in school settings</li><li>Deliver evidence-informed analysis and board-level reporting</li><li>Educate for and effectively promote a culture of understanding risk, proactive safety and continuous improvement</li><li>Demonstrate and support the values and ethos of the school</li></ul><p>Offered as a full-time ongoing position and with an early commencement date to be negotiated, applicants must have the right to work in Australia and a valid Working with Children Check. Prior experience in schools along with qualifications in risk, compliance or related fields would be advantageous.</p><p>St Catherine’s School staff comply with the School’s child safety policies and related procedures, upholding legislative frameworks and conducting themselves in accordance with the commitment to promote and safeguard the safety and wellbeing of all children.
