As part of our Senior Leadership Team, the Wellbeing and Inclusion Leader shapes the strategic direction and day-to-day delivery of wellbeing and inclusion across ELC–Year 6.

Join Immanuel Primary School, where wellbeing is foundational and every child is known, nurtured, and empowered to flourish.</p><p>As part of our Senior Leadership Team, the Wellbeing and Inclusion Leader shapes the strategic direction and day-to-day delivery of wellbeing and inclusion across ELC–Year 6. This people-centred role strengthens student engagement, safety, belonging, and growth through a whole-school approach aligned with Lutheran values, the Australian Curriculum, the IB Primary Years Programme and the Early Years Framework.</p><p><strong>Why You’ll Love This Role</strong></p><ul><li>Lead whole-school wellbeing and inclusion strategy with meaningful influence across students, staff and families</li><li>Make a lasting impact through proactive frameworks, targeted support, and values-led, relational leadership</li><li>Inspire and equip staff through coaching in restorative practice, trauma-awareness and inclusive pedagogy</li><li>Co-lead high-impact support for diverse learners through strategic leadership and team-based interventions</li><li>Shape a strong culture of belonging through student-led initiatives, house activities, SEL programs and lunchtime enrichment opportunities clubs </li><li>Work in partnership with families, allied health professionals and educators to embed personalised high impact wellbeing and learning strategies that make a difference</li><li>Be part of a contemporary school where innovation, care and collaboration create a flourishing community for all learners and staff.</li></ul><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead wellbeing and inclusion practices that support positive behaviour, student agency and whole-child development</li><li>Provide strategic leadership for the Wellbeing and Inclusion teams and the school’s multi-tiered support framework</li><li>Collaborate with teachers to co-plan for learner variability, adjusting and differentiating learning to meet individual needs </li><li>Develop and monitor personalised support plans and targeted interventions</li><li>Drive the design and delivery of an inclusive curriculum, embedding supportive elements, such as the UDL framework</li><li>Lead data-informed practices, restorative approaches, and collaborative practices in line with NCCD and school requirements</li><li>Support staff wellbeing and contribute to leadership decisions across the school.<br /> </li></ul><p><strong>To Succeed in This Role, You Will…</strong></p><ul><li>Demonstrate experience leading wellbeing and inclusion in a primary school setting</li><li>Demonstrate strong communication and relational skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and families</li><li>Advocate for student voice, agency, and diversity</li><li>Understand how to support a wide range of student learning, social-emotional literacy and behavioural needs</li><li>Coach staff and lead professional learning in inclusive and trauma-aware practice</li><li>Bring knowledge of programs/approaches such as Restorative Practice, URStrong, Keeping Safe Child Protection Curriculum , Zones of Regulation, and the UDL framework</li><li>Communicate compassionately and professionally, building trust with staff, students and families</li><li>Model servant leadership with a strong sense of purpose and strategic clarity</li></ul><p> </p><p>We are looking for a start date of Term 3, 2025 (or by negotiation).
