A fulltime Assistant Educator (Cert III Qualified) position has become available in Brindabella Early Learning Centre. This is an amazing opportunity to be a part of a reputable Early Learning Centre in Canberra ACT.

As the Assistant Educator (Cert III Qualified), you will be assisting the ECT / Lead Educators to implement the educational experiences as well as the day-to-day operation in the room. 

Duties will include, but not limited to:

• Build positive relationships through respectful and meaningful interactions with children, staff, and families.
• Provide adequate supervision for children in various learning experiences.
• Assist ECT / Lead Educator to conduct observations for our amazing children. 
• Assist ECT / Lead Educator to setup learning spaces or experiences. 
• Act as a positive role model, demonstrating a positive behaviour and language. 

The successful candidate must:

• Hold a Cert III in ECEC.
• Hold a current First Aid Qualifications (Early Childhood specific)
• Previous experience working in an Early Education and Care service (Preferrable).
• Hold the WWVP card.
• Be familiar with the EYLF and NQF guidelines. 
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Positive, caring attitude and willing to improve.
• Professional presentation

This is a fulltime position only, working Monday to Friday. Training will be provided; however, the candidate must be able to quickly grasp the services we offer and the systems we use.
