Learning Enrichment Teaching Assistant

MLC School is looking for a helpful and compassionate Learning Enrichment Teaching Assistant who will support our vision to educate and inspire young women to be fearless thinkers with moral courage and compassion to be agents of change in their own lives and in the lives of others. 

About MLC School 

Founded in 1886, MLC School is an independent, nonselective Uniting Church school for girls from Pre-Kindergarten to Year 12 in Sydney’s inner-west.  Our tagline ‘dare to be more’ is not only our goal for our students, it applies equally to our staff.   Our highly professional staff, under the guidance of Principal Ms Lisa Moloney, challenge girls and encourage them to question traditional perceptions and roles of women.  The MLC School girl is at the heart of everything we do.

About the position 

As a Learning Enrichment Assistant you will support student learning, in line with learning philosophies and practices of MLC School.  Learning Enrichment Teaching Assistants form part of a collaborative team supporting the professional to help each girl achieve her potential within a learning environment that fosters creativity, independence, confidence and self-belief.

Selection Criteria:

• Experience working with students from Pre-K to Y-12 students
• Experience working in a similar role in a school setting, or similar
• Experience working with students with specific/additional learning needs
• Current NSW Working with children's check
